Callington Methodist Chapel members - you are wonderful people, thank you!
I received an e-mail from my parents on Friday telling me that their local chapel had organised a fund-raising event last week and given that several people from the chapel had been reading my blog, they had decided to donate 50% of the takings to the projects that I am involved with in Ayacucho. They are very kindly sending me 205 pounds, which is fantastic! And my parents are adding to this, and I will too, to take this up to a nice round 300 pounds.
I will update in more detail once I have decided exactly what to do with the money. Though I think I will probably split it up and give some to the primary school collection and some to an orphanage for children with special needs - they currently have serious funding issues and are living in extremely basic conditions, and it would be nice to give them something at Christmas.
Once again, very many thanks for everyone in Callington who sent donations, I really appreciate it, and I will make sure that the money is put to good use here!

Yes we were very moved by all the generosity on the evening.We have now had time to read all your latest updates and are amazed by all the things you are getting involved in and the difference you must be making out there.
